Why this exists
The world changes fast, and keeping up usually means hopping across a dozen news sites. OdinBox News pulls headlines from global publishers, AI-summarizes them in both Korean and English, and always links you straight back to the original. It's the tool I wanted for myself.
How it works
- 1We hourly pull official RSS feeds from major publishers.
- 2We store only headlines, never article bodies.
- 3Gemini translates the headline and generates a fresh 3-4 sentence summary from the headline alone.
- 4Every card has a prominent link to the original source. We're a signpost, not a destination.
How we handle copyright
Article bodies are never copied or stored. What we have is the public headline, the URL, and an AI-generated paraphrase — by design, within the scope of fair use.

Three principles
Never hide the original
Every card has a visible link to the source. We aren't trying to capture their traffic.
AI summaries are marked as such
Nuance can get lost — go to the original whenever it matters.
Ads are clearly ads
AdSense only, no sponsored-content cards that pretend to be articles.

A solo side project. Built on free tiers end-to-end — Next.js, Cloudflare Pages, Turso, Gemini's free model, GitHub Actions.
